International standards and a culture of trees to transform cities

The Asociación Mexicana de Arboricultura (AMA) promotes professional arboriculture practices throughout Mexico, as well as the standards and certifications that support the technical management of urban trees.

 

AMA is affiliated with the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), an organization dedicated to the development of guidelines, standards, and certifications in arboriculture, with a strong presence across the Americas.

AMA formally integrates the Yucatán Delegation

As the ninth branch of the Asociación Mexicana de Arboricultura, the AMA Yucatán Delegation brings together specialists from academia, the professional sector, and civil society. The delegation was established with a vision that as suggested by the word "arbor-i-culture" integrates science, technical practice, and tree culture into the management of urban trees.

Partnerships

We establish partnerships with institutions and sector stakeholders to advance projects, training, and technical criteria for urban tree planting.
